2011 Resolution completed at 10:30pm on December 31st. My craft room is clean. Still a little organizing to be done but I can see the floor and most things are put away.
... not doing so well with this blogging am I? Oh well what do you do. Work has been busy I had to do a training to engineers on Friday. How comps work in Patron. They taped it so they could use it for review. I will never see it. I hate to hear my recorded voice.
So here are the pics of my resolution to get this stack of pics done. Not doing to bad I completed my "What Makes Me Happy" book, that Layle taught at Inspiration Unlimited 2008. Since Tyler is sick today I am going to work on the Pink and Black book that Teresa taught at IU 2008. That should clear some more pics out of my stack. I am not ordering any new pics until I get this done. Then I will order a stack like that and just plug through them. I so want to do my Halloween pics from 2009, but if I printed them I would have no place to put them.
PICS to Scrap!
What Makes Me Happy Book...
Ok I am off to try and get some more pics scrapped...
Yesterday I decided to reorganize my scrapbook room. I was tired of all my pretty things be stored in plastic containers, you can't see the stuff and I have to go through everyone each time I am looking for something. This is just a few of them. I have tons of these silly plastic containers.
So I am working on organizing everything by color and putting all my treasures in pretty little glass containers so I can see everything. Here's a preview...
It looks so pretty. Now the only problem is when it's time to pack up and go to a crop I have no idea how I am going to take stuff with me. Oh well I guess I will figure that out at the end of May when I go to my next crop. I will post more pics when I am all done. Probably take me until the end of May to get done.
Well I made it through another crop. Fun in the Sun hosted by Ginger from Down to Details. So the day was quite the event. The last crop I got there early to help out Ginger. Well this time my sis and I got there early to help, I mean what else do I have to do. I was up at 5:00 counting down until it was time to go help, just imagine if I had to wait until the crop actually started. So my sis and got there a tad late, we missed helping unload the van. But we helped set up the tables and then proceeded to help set up merchandise. Well there are these grid brackets (not sure what to call them) that you hang stuff on for display. So I was sitting on the floor helping hang stuff up and I am not sure what happened but the next thing I know there is a loud (I mean loud) crash and the grid is resting on top of my head (ok maybe I am telling a small fish tale) I am surrounded by embellishments.. OOH being surrounding by all the embellishments a scrappers dream come true. Everybody in the place comes running over to make sure I am ok... Mom, Alyce, comes rushing over she is crying, I guess it looked and sounded worse than it really was, completely panicked that I am badly hurt, just embarrassed. But things turned out fine my sis, mom and I had a great day. I think she is trying to figure out how to make it next year. I can't wait for the next one and I will gladly help Ginger set up. Maybe I should stick to the tables and unloading the van though. I took my camera and wanted so badly to get some pics of my sis and I together, maybe the bump on my head caused temporary amnesia cause the only pic I have is the one Todd took while my sis and I were standing on the sidewalk waiting for him to take a friggin pic so I could get into the crop.
Every x-mas I send my sis a couple stamps from the stamp store here in Vegas. So my sis is here now and she wanted to go. I love the store but it's getting absolutely disgusting. The guy has like 5 dogs and 6 cats and I am pretty sure they all hang out in the store. So I love the store but it just felt absolutely gross, I felt like I needed a shower after leaving.
I know I shouldn't have but I did... I just had to buy something, I have been so good this year and I did pretty good, I only bought 2 stamps. I'm really trying hard to justify my purchase... Is it working???
