Lost library book...

...so on Friday before spring break, Tyler brings home a slip from the library saying he needs to return it or pay for it.  I told him he has all of spring break to find.  So it's Easter Sunday and he hasn't even started looking for it school is tomorrow.  So we do the egg hunt, brunch and Todd surprised us all by getting the kids new bikes.  So we get home from brunch and I tell Tyler he has to find his library book before he can go ride his bike.  We tear the house apart looking for the book.  Zoe had some homework that was unfinished.  She finished that and Tyler says "I wish I just had homework to finish".  Tyler has the rubbermaid drawers in his room, they are red and suppose to only have Build a Bear stuff in it, anyway  I told him to look in at least 100 times (ok maybe only 10). After ripping the couch apart and going through everything in his room twice.  I finally sit down in front of the drawers and open the bottom one first and guess what was staring me in the face, the Spider-man library book.  Tyler was out of the room when I found so I call him.  He comes and I ask him how many times I asked him to look in the red the drawers he says "a lot".   So I show him the book and he is so happy, he was genuinely appreciative.  Thanks mom, Thank you mom, come here and give me a kiss.  It made my day!

Todd has been hanging over my shoulder pointing out all my grammar mistakes, I just want to remind everyone that I am a horrible writer.  I can't spell, and I like email cause I dot dot dot everything instead of using punctuation.

I'm back!

It's been a long time since I posted.  I willtry and get better, but I've gotten hooked on facebook.  I check it all day long.  Pathetic aren't I???

The kids are back doing soccer.  I think Tyler is pretty much done, he didn't really want to play this season but did because one of his friends was playing.  He would rather chase his shadow than kick the ball.  Zoe loves it though, she is not sure if her coach is going to coach in the fall, so we are going to try and convince daddy...  Will see how that goes. 

It's windy season here in Vegas.  It sucks cause you can't sleep at night cause everything outside gets thrown around you can't sleep with the windows open cause it sounds like the blinds are flying across the room.  This is the worst part about living in Vegas and it will pretty much last all spring.

Just us goofing around.  It was beautiful...  It's been years since I have walked on the beach, I could have stayed all day. 

Ramblings of a crazed scrapbooker on everything but scrapbooking

I went to work for a travel agent a few months back, suppose to be part time.  This week it feels like the good old days of Coolerguys working all day and then coming home to work some more.  Anyway the company I work for is a new company and growing like crazy (I guess that's why I relate it to coolerguys).  Aaaah crap.  Don't you hate it when you forget the point.  I could erase it all and start over but why?  I was going to say something and I just forgot. My mind works faster than I can type.  It's all thought out and said in my mind but my fingers are still on the first word.  Lost.   At best you all should get a good laugh and that is what I am here for.  So I just changed the title instead of my story.  It is late, anyway to ramble on about something else...

My friend and boss was demoted today and feel terrible.  I never once had time to see how she was doing today.  I am so busy trying to get caught up I forgot about her and now I feel like poohpooh.  It's not really a demotion but more of a probation.  I hope everything works out for the best for her.  I wish I would have taken the time to make sure she was ok.  Sometimes I'm a crappy friend.  She's not a scrapbooker but she does deal with beads.  So her and I are going to have to get together drink some wine and do our crafts.

OK!  The Crazy Scrapbook Lady needs to go to bed.  "You Crazy Lady"  that's what my daughter says...  Nite!  Nite!

Back to work or no....

Oh man!  So I went on a job interview today.  It was a big whirl wind, I have no real idea of what I will actually be doing...  I was so friggin confused.  It didn't sound hard, just something I have never done before.  It is part-time and the owner is willing to let me stay on part-time forever if that is all want.  Just no benies come with that.  I hardly get paid, but a little is more than nothing right???  I would only have to work about 6 hours a day, five days a week though.  I could go full time after the first 30 days if they decide to keep me.  Geez I just don't know what to do.  In a way it is exciting in another way it absolutely sucks.  I would get out of the house, meet new people.  Yet the kids are out of school May 30th and I had such a great time being off with them last year.  I just don't know what to do....  Any advice from the experts out there???  I would be working with Sandy, Todd's ex employee and she is a very nice and fun person.
